I’ve had jobs that I’ve hated. They were the ones that made me not want to get out of bed in the morning. On my drive in to the office, I would feel like I was going to prison. I think we’ve all had jobs like that. Some of us still do and I know you have employees on staff who might feel this way too.
But the thing for all of us to keep in mind is that we are free…free to choose how we feel about the situations and circumstances in our lives.
As managers and supervisors, sometimes we need to remind our employees, for the sake of customer satisfaction, that they too are free, even though they may not feel that way. Employees have the …
- Freedom to choose to have a good day.
- Freedom to choose how we respond to a difficult customer or situation.
- Freedom to choose to treat customer with dignity and respect even though there are times when we feel they don’t deserve it.
Feel free. You know you can!
