Being in business, managing a department, finding a job or ways to motivate your staff can be challenging these days. But if you take the time to use two of your customers’ and employees’ favorite words – Thank you – you might find that the challenges you face become a whole lot easier.
I am talking about saying, “thank you” to those who are helping you along the way to success. A well placed expression of gratitude can go a long way to ensure that those who have given something to you know how much you appreciate it.
In this short video, we’ll be talking about the thank you note. Most people don’t write them anymore. We’ve gotten out of the habit of formally thanking people for gifts, assistance, or time. We assume that a quick verbal “thanks” will suffice but it’s the person who takes the time to follow up with a note or email that will set themselves apart from the rest.
